Crystal Kayaking with Seals
Paddle into the heart of a 60,000-strong Cape fur seal colony in transparent crystal kayaks — an innovation brought to Walvis Bay by our activity partner, Mola Mola Safaris. The see-through hulls place you right inside the underwater world as seals glide beneath you, pups tumble alongside, and dolphins occasionally join the journey.
Guided by marine specialists who understand the colony's rhythms, early morning is best — when the water is calm and the seals are most playful. It is one of the most intimate wildlife encounters on the Namibian coast.
