FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time to visit?

Pelican Point is wonderful year-round. July-October offers clear skies and excellent wildlife viewing. January-March is warmer with occasional afternoon clouds. The shoulder seasons offer solitude and great value.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 3-6 months in advance, especially for peak season (July-October). Last-minute availability is sometimes possible during shoulder seasons.

Can I visit for just one night?

While we accept single-night bookings, we strongly recommend a minimum of two nights. The rhythm of this place reveals itself slowly, and rushing defeats the purpose.

Is WiFi available?

Yes, but it's limited. This is intentional — Pelican Point is a place to disconnect. If you need to work, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate.

What should I pack?

Warm layers for evenings, sunscreen, camera with zoom lens, and comfortable walking shoes. We provide binoculars and telescopes. Swimwear optional — the water is cold!
